Biography
Darren Thompson an Indigenous flute player and journalist from the Lac du Flambeau Ojibwe Reservation in northern Wisconsin. He has performed at the most prestigious American Indian cultural institutions and organizations in the United States sharing his music, journey and Ojibwe culture. His second album, "Between Earth and Sky", has earned Darren a Native American Music Award Nomination for "Flute Album the Year" in 2016, "Flute Album of the Year" for "Bigigwan: The Flute" in 2022, Wisconsin Public Radio's "album of the week" and a #2 spot on the world music chart in London, England.
